In[corporeal] Fluxus

closed-loop A/V performance by ϙue (music), equii (visual), Olena Bublyk (dance) · 2026

What happens to a composition when part of it is written by something no one controls?

During In[corporeal] Fluxus, we hand the score to a nervous system.
Without a single lead, three artists and one involuntary body share the authorship.

Galvanic skin response is the channel polygraphs use to “catch a lie”, we repurposed it as a musical instrument. Here it is pointed the other way away from control and towards a  body speaking for itself.

implementation
Electric skin response and motion acceleration sensors read Olena Bublyk's body > ϙue turns that biodata into quadraphonic sound > equii's real-time visuals respond to the sound, and sound and image feed back into her movement.

Skin  response is involuntary, so part of the composition is played not by dancer’s choices, surrending the control.

The data is never stored. The piece happens once, in the room, and then it’s gone.
